The Trans-Catalina Trail
Hiking the Trans-Catalina Trail was one of the most rewarding challenges I’ve taken on—38.5 miles of steep ridges, quiet valleys, and endless ocean views. Over several days, I carried everything I needed on my back, climbed nearly 9,000 feet of elevation, and camped under the stars with the sound of waves in the distance. It wasn’t easy, but every mile felt like a gift—wild bison on the hillsides, sunrises over the Pacific, and the deep satisfaction of moving through such rugged beauty entirely on foot.
